The layout of this tract makes for some great deer and turkey hunting. The southern border is Plummer Creek, which funnels deer through the property and provides fishing and kayaking opportunities. Access along the entire west and north borders allows one to slip into the strategically placed tree stands undetected. Plus, the cover, food and water provide the ideal habitat to attract and hold big deer. This property is set up with a half-acre central food plot surrounded by bedding cover and great access trails to stands which are positioned to hunt in any wind direction. The food plot contains clover, winter wheat and winter rye which will be utilized by deer into the winter months. The southern end of the food plot is a hub of activity with creeks, wood edge and food all converging. The plot edge has been stripped of all low hanging branches, apart from two scrapes set within bow range of the stands. These scrapes are heavily used as seen in the trail camera pictures and provide locations for deer to pause for a shot. Conifers and other species line the road providing seclusion for the food plot.
